William (Bill) Hebberger, Esq., 82, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on July 4, 2008, at Mission Springs Assisted Living. Bill was born to Elsie and Fredrick Hebberger on August 11, 1925 in St. Louis, MO. He was honorably discharged from the Navy Seabee?s after World War II in 1946 and went on to graduate law school. He married Ann Austin on July 26, 1952 and moved to Kansas City and was married for 54 years. He worked for State Farm Insurance and then started his own successful downtown Kansas City law office. He was an avid fisherman and tennis player. He loved traveling to Mexico and fishing in various locations. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Ann, in 2006 and is survived by his sister, Gloria Kehl; his son Michael and wife Karen, and their son Tim Hebberger, his daughter Patti, husband James and their daughters Leslie and Lindsey Byrd; his daughter Chrissie and her husband Jim, and their son Michael Fulton; and his loving dog Max. The family would like to thank Yolanda, Denise, Miss Minnie and the rest of the Mission Springs Assisted Living staff as well as Karen and staff from Kendallwood Hospice for taking such great care of him in the last couple of years when he needed it most. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather and we will miss him a great deal. A celebration of Bill?s life will be held at D.W.
