Warren Michael Gilbert, 58, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Memorial services will be 1:00 P.M. on Friday, June 19th at D. W. Newcomer’s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. The family will receive friends at the chapel following the service. Cremation. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the family’s choice. Mike was born on October 18, 1950 in Sheridan, WY. He had been a graphic designer with American Identity/Staples for the last 20 years. He loved the blues and art.
Mike was a beloved son, brother and uncle. He will be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Gilbert. Survivors include his mother, Lorena and her husband, Manuel Arsiaga, Lincoln, NE; sister, Karen Gilbert, Palmyra, NE; nieces, Adair Kimbell, Omaha, NE; and Hannah Kimbell, Lincoln, NE.
