Wallace E. Roberts, 71, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2012 at the D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel with a visitation preceding from 10-11 a.m. at the chapel; burial in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Heart of America Chapter, 6950 Squibb Rd, Ste 310, Mission, KS 66202.
Wally was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Beulah Roberts; a brother, Art Roberts. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Loretta Myers-Roberts; his sons: Chris (Sharon) Roberts; and Andrew Bryce Myers; a granddaughter, Alex Roberts; and many nieces and nephews. He attended Shawnee Mission High School class of 1958. Wally developed several close relationships from his many years in the restaurant supply industry.
