Virginia L. Glenn, 81, passed away Friday, March 18, 2011. Private family services, cremation. There will be a gathering of family and friends at Noon Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Shawnee Park Christian Church, 16500 Midland Dr., Shawnee, KS. Virginia was born in Herington, KS to Tyler and Emma (Hession) Snodgrass and has lived in Shawnee for 60 years. She was a member of United Methodist Women. Virginia enjoyed traveling, crocheting, reading, and genealogy. She was married to James Glenn Sept. 4, 1951 in Sedalia, MO. She was preceded in death by a brother, T.J. Snodgrass; granddaughter, Kathleen Goad, and a son-in-law, Bruce Goad. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James Glenn; her children: Bonnie (Sonny) Ellis, Jane Goad, Janice (Dave) Doan, and James T. Glenn; 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
