Tom D. Duncan, 61, of Merriam, KS passed away Saturday, February 3, 2007 at his home. Memorial services will be 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 7th at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the chapel prior to the service. Memorial contributions are suggested to ALS or to the American Cancer Society.
Tom was born March 6, 1945 in Washington, DC. He was a certified master mechanic. Tom attended Kansas University. He worked for TWA and International Auto Sport. He worked for Jack Miller Jeep-Kia. Tom loved fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Addward Duncan; his sister, Bonnie Duncan; his half brother, George Duncan; and his son-in-law, Darrel Bourque. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Jennifer Duncan of the home; his children, David Duncan and his wife Donna, Kansas City, MO, Ken Duncan and his wife Nicole, Kansas City, MO and Michelle Bourque, Kansas City, MO; eleven grandchildren; his mother, Dard Duncan, Olathe, KS; brother, Bob Duncan and his wife Toi, Olathe, KS; nephew, Ron Duncan, Olathe, KS and niece, Patty Duncan, Overland Park, KS.
