Thomas "Tom" Munsterman

Thomas D. "Tom" Munsterman, 77, of Shawnee, KS, passed away on August 22, 2012.
Tom was born on October 13, 1934 in Stover, MO to Walter and Loretta (Shireman) Munsterman. Tom worked for the Raytown Public School District for over 20 years, retiring in 2000. He will be remembered as a family man and a storyteller.
Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Virginia, three step-children, Theresa Skaggs of Olathe, Bonnie Paris of Independence, MO, and David Greer of KC, MO, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, a brother, Don Munsterman of Lee's Summit, and a sister, Judy Munsterman of Albuquerque, NM.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 26th, 5-7 PM, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 27th, 1:00 PM, also at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel, with interment to follow at Shawnee Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Sunflower Hospice or the Parkinson's Foundation.
