Thomas Bell

Thomas William Bell, 76, of Lenexa, KS, passed away on March 10, 2019 at Westchester Village in Lenexa.  He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sherrie, and his daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Chris Ebbs, Sandy and Greg Senner, and his sister and brother-in law, Marilyn and Tom Tischinski.

Tom was born in 1942 to Martha and William Bell in Kansas City, MO.  He graduated from Rockhurst High School in 1959.  He attended Rockhurst College for two years and graduated from Central Missouri State in Warrensberg, MO with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting where he was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity.  He worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture his entire career and retired in 1996.

Tom enjoyed rooting for the Kansas City Royals, The Kansas City Chiefs, and KU basketball.

Visitation will be on March 13th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Overland Park Funeral Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, in Overland Park, KS.  Rosary to be held at 6:00 PM.  Funeral mass on March 14th at 10:00 am at Good Shephard Catholic Church, 12800 W. 75th Street, Shawnee, KS.  Burial in Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
