Thelma M. Farmer, 91, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2011. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011 at the D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park chapel with a graveside service following at 2:30 p.m. at East Slope Cemetery in Riverside, MO.
Thelma was born Feb. 19, 1920 to Clarence and Lizzie Mae Lovell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Farmer; a step-son, Rod Farmer; a daughter, Coleen Mae Velaer. Survivors include a son, Robert Pock; two brothers, Wayne Orlin and Lester Dean Lovell; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; 1 niece; 1 great niece; and 2 great-great nieces.
