Sue Paintin Miller, 76, Lenexa, Kansas passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at home.
Sue was born on June 13, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri to parents, George W. Crum and Tilla Marie Crum. She was an avid traveler of Europe, Africa and Central America. She was active in the early establishment of the Village Squire Magazine and the Overland Park Sun. She owned Chambler?s Flowers for 20 years, from 1970 to 1990. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Paintin Etzel.
Sue was also a very active member of Unity Church of Overland Park, where she met the love of her life, Ken Miller, on August 9, 1995, who survives her.
She was much loved by her daughters, Christine Paintin Rowe and her husband, Andrew Rowe and Linda Paintin Schroeder and her husband, Douglas Schroeder; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Ruth Koon and her husband, Brian Koon, Erica Sue Etzel, Catherine Leigh Schroeder, John Daniel Rowe and Alexander Etzel. She was joyful that she met her first great grandchild, Aiden Michael Koon, on June 22, 2008.
