Stanley K. Jensen, age 95, of Mission, Kansas, passed away in his sleep on Monday, February 23, 2015 at the family home. He was born March 11, 1919 in Thompson, Iowa. He was raised in Kansas City where he met the love of his life, Bette, whom he was married to for 72 years. They were wed on his birthday. Together they enjoyed entertaining, dancing, traveling, playing cards, and fishing. He was an avid golfer and could boast of two holes in one. Stan was preceded in death by: his wife, Bette K. Jensen; his parents, Herman and Josephine Jensen; three brothers, Myron Jensen, Lyle Jensen, Loyle Jensen; one sister, Joyce Wilner, and son-in-law, Cliff Bachman. Stan is survived by his three daughters, Jo Ann (Kirk) Daddow, Donna Bachman and Tammy Jensen and partner, Samantha Hance; a sister-in-law, Winnie Seeman; three granddaughters, Kirsten, Kim, and Keri; four great grandchildren, Ben, Jennifer, Laura, and Lloyd; three nephews, Joe Wilner, Jay Wilner, Jim Seeman; and three nieces, Jenny Wilner, Joy Wilner, Lisa Breault. Visitation will be from 12:30-1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS. Services will be at 1:00 p.m., followed by burial at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
