Roxanne Mary Cannon, age 62, of Prairie Village, KS died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 15 at Cure of Ars Catholic Church, 9401 Mission Rd, Leawood, Kansas 66206.
Visitation at the church will begin at 9:30 AM preceding the funeral mass.
Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum, 83rd and Quivira Rd., Lenexa, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Catholic Charities, 301 E. Armour Blvd. Suite 620, Kansas City, MO 64111.
Roxanne was born March 9, 1946 in Des Moines, IA and lived most of her life in Prairie Village. She graduated from Bishop Miege. She was a member of Cure of Ars Legion of Mary and was very devoted to her faith.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Thomas and Marian Cannon.
Survivors include her brother, Thomas Cannon; sister, Paddi Kaye; niece Lynne Miller and her husband Jeff, and a grand niece, Grace and a grand nephew, Luke.
