Rosemary Butterworth, age 90, of Leawood, KS passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 16th at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, 6630 Nall, Mission, KS. Burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Operation Wildlife, 23375 Guthrie Road, Linwood, KS 66052.
Rosemary was born on February 19, 1918 in St. Louis, MO. For several years, she lived in New York and was a model there and later modeled in Kansas City as well. Rosemary retired as office manager of American Air Filter in Mission, KS. Rosemary was a member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church and a lifelong member of the Masonic Eastern Star Chapter #520. She was a published author in ?Decision? magazine and was awarded 1st place by the Billy Graham Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Butterworth in 1980. Survivors include her daughter, Jeanine Butterworth-Mattes and son-in-law, Dr. David Mattes, of Leawood, KS.
