RONALD G. BILLINGS
Ronald G. Billings, 88, of Overland Park, KS, died Sept. 18, 2011 after a long illness. He was born in Elizabeth, CO, the son of Charles S. and Rossie Billings. At a very young age Ron moved with his family to Topeka, KS. He attended Highland Park High School and went on to KSU to major in Milling Administration. After serving as a bomber pilot in WWII, Ron went on to Harvard University and received his Master's Degree in Business Administration. Ron was married to Joan Haylett in June 1948 who survives him. He is also survived by two sons: Chuck Billings and wife Julie of Overland Park, and son Ward R. Billings of Drexel, MO; two grandchildren: Brent Billings and Sarah Morley and her husband Travis; twin great granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. His parents and sister, Phyllis Fletcher, preceded him in death. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday September 28th at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Topeka, KS.
