Robert “Bob” F. Trotter, 80, of Prairie Village, KS, passed away peacefully June 1, 2009, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11am, Monday, June 8, 2009, at Nall Avenue Baptist Church followed by burial at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:30am Monday prior to the funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nall Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund, 6701 Nall Ave., Prairie Village, Ks, 66208.
Bob was born October 5, 1928, to Ferris and Opal Lofland Trotter in Kansas City, MO. He was a 1951 graduate of the Univ. of Missouri and a Korean War Army Veteran. Bob married Mary Lee Otto Trotter and they were married 49 years until her passing last year. He worked for 38 years in the Accounting Department of Colgate Palmolive. He was a volunteer for Kansas City Youth for Christ and very active in his church.
Survivors include one daughter, Sara Trotter Griffin, Prairie Village, KS; sister, Katharine Jackson (Ken), Prairie Village , KS; four nieces - Paige Ballard, Leawood, KS; Brooke Ramel, LA, CA; Carol Jackson, Seattle, WA; Joyce Bibens, Platte Woods, MO.
