Bob Heddings, 77, of Kansas City, KS passed away on January 14, 2007 at Medicalodge. A memorial service will be held on January 20, 2007 at 5:00 P.M. at D.W. Newcomer?s Son?s Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS.
Bob was born on November 16, 1929 in Wyandotte County, KS. He was a WWII Veteran with an Honorable Discharge. Bob was a Kansas State Marshall and Deputy Sheriff of Wyandotte County, KS. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Norma Heddings on December 23, 2006 and his son, Robert L. Heddings II. He is survived by three daughters, Linda Gentry, Warrensburg, MO, Brenda Burnstein, Kansas City, MO and Mary Heddings, Albuquerque, NM; one son, Harold L. Heddings, Kansas City, KS and 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
