Robert W. Cundiff, 79, Bucyrus, KS, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2010 at Homestead of Leawood. Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, November 26 with visitation from 10-11 am at the D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf. Burial to follow at Highland Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Sertoma Club of Kansas City, 818 W. 122nd Terr, Kansas City, MO 64145.
Bob was born April 12, 1931 in Kansas City, KS, and was a lifelong Kansas City area resident. Bob was a graduate of Wyandotte High school (1950). He worked at his father’s pharmacy (Curt L. Cundiff) Drugs) in Kansas City, KS, before joining the Air Force in 1951. After honorable discharge in 1954, Bob worked as a Kansas dairy inspector. Bob also was a manufacturer’s sales representative of office supplies. His father and son Curt preceded him in death. Bob is survived by his mother Margaret.
