Robert J. Daigneaux, 75, of Lenexa, Kansas passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2008. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 21st at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS. Visitation will be 6:30-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 20th at the Overland Park Chapel with Rosary recitation at 6:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Parkinson?s Foundation of the Heartland, 8900 State Line Road, Suite 320, Leawood, KS 66206.
Bob Daigneaux was born on January 24, 1933 in Leavenworth, KS, the son of J. Paul and Margaret Doman Daigneaux. Bob spent most of his working career in insurance claims, rising to claims manager with AAA Auto Insurance. He retired in 1995 from CNA Insurance. Bob is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sandy of the home; his sister, Yvonne Clampert and her husband, Al, Leavenworth, KS; niece, Denice Portice, her husband, Don and their son, R.J., Lansing, KS, and niece, Rene? Hestand and her daughter, Sarah, Olathe, KS.
