Richard M. Fuller, Sr., 87, Prairie Village, Kansas, passed away on June 25, 2013. Richard was born in St. Louis, MO. He graduated from Paseo High School 1943 and enlisted in the Navy. He was in flight training at Park College, Ottumwa Iowa, and St. Mary's pre-flight in California. While awaiting final orders for Pacific duty, World War II ended. He attended Kansas State University earning a degree in Engineering. He was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. On May 20, 1950 he married Yolonda S. Fuller. A self-employed Engineer, he traveled the midwest on business. He enjoyed bicycling, snow skiing, kayaking and hiking. He enjoyed winters in Sanibel/Ft. Myers. He was a genuinely adventurous man. Survivors are his wife of 63 years, Yolonda; son, Richard; daughter, Karen; son-in-law, Joel; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was cremated and a celebration of life gathering is being planned.
