Richard Corpeny

Richard L. Corpeny, 53, of Prairie Village, Kan., passed away on Friday, July 20, 2007. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kan. Burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo. Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 5601 W. 62nd St., Mission, KS 66202. Richard was born on December 12, 1953. He graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School. He was a customer service representative for Pizza Hut. Survivors include his parents, Elbert and Betty Corpeny; brother, Edward Corpeny; sister and brother-inlaw, Carol and Ralph Schwartz; and many relatives and friends.
