Peter Christy

Amateur astronomer, train enthusiast, and classical music lover, Peter Andrew Christy passed away on July 19, 2017 and now is in a better place. Peter is survived by wife, QiuYan, sister, Andrea "Mitzi" Brown, two daughters, Andrea and Sherri, four grandchildren, Ronald Joseph, Dominic, Giovanni, and Lyndee, and his beloved cats, Cowboy and Patches. An Army veteran, Peter loved solving problems and used his attention to detail and technical acumen in varied technical and customer support roles at the Chicago Transit Authority, IBM, Savin, Convergent Technologies, and Verizon. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and church. Visitation will be from 10-11 am Saturday, July 22nd followed by funeral services at 11 am both held at the Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66204.
