Patsie Irene (Tucker) Boeshaar, 88, passed away Saturday, June 16, at her home in Prairie Village, KS. She was born April 8, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of the late Robert Carter Tucker and Irene Elizabeth (Doyle) Tucker. Private services. Cremation.
Patsie lived nearly all her life in the Kansas City area, graduating from Southwest High School in 1941, Bradford Junior College, Bradford, Massachusetts, and the University of Missouri at Columbia, where she joined the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Patsie taught school in the Kansas City area and was married in 1946 to the late Robert Warren Boeshaar after he returned from WWII. She spent her time as a homemaker and mother to their three children. She volunteered for Minute Circle Friendly House and various projects of Kappa Kappa Gamma. For over 30 years Patsie enjoyed walking several miles every day with her sister and often with her dog. She enjoyed seeing the many friendly acquaintances during her daily walks.
Survivors include her sister and bother-in-law (Helen and Jack Robison), a son Richard and Emily Boeshaar of Mission Hills, KS, a daughter Barbara and Ken Parks, of Garden City, KS, a son Charles and Abbie Boeshaar of Prairie Village, KS, and 7 grandchildren.
