Patrick T. LeRoy 61, Shawnee, KS passed away Tuesday April 12, 2011 at his home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday April 15, 2011. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 16, 2011 at the D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS.
Patrick was born September 13, 1949 in Leavenworth, KS to John J. and Sylvia A. LeRoy. He graduated from Leavenworth High School and served 4 years in the U.S. Navy before going to work for the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years where he retired in 2009. Patrick’s favorite hobbies and pastimes were fishing, bowling, gardening, family gatherings and K.C. sports teams. He is survived by his wife Marilyn LeRoy of the home; step daughter Belinda Kershner, Raymore, MO; Mark Beals III, Shawnee, KS; sisters Jo Ann Ross, Lee Summit, MO and Sandy Brown, Bonner Springs, KS; brothers Joseph LeRoy, Trinity, FL; Robert LeRoy, Kansas City, MO; Ronald LeRoy, Kansas City, KS and many nieces and nephews.
