Patricia "Pat" Roberts

Patricia D. “Pat” Roberts, 66, passed away at home surrounded by family and friends Friday, October 15, 2010. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010 at the D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Overland Park Chapel; burial in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19 at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Pat’s name to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetic Research Center c/o F.O.E. Charity Foundation, 1623 Gateway Circle South, Grove City, OH 43123.
Pat was born Sept. 12, 1944 in Olathe, KS and a lifelong resident. She attended Olathe schools and was a 44 year member of F.O.E. # 700 Ladies Auxiliary serving as Madam President several times. Pat attended First Presbyterian Church of Olathe and was a member of the “Dirty Dozen.” She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Weaver; her mother, Flo Mustain, and an infant brother, Carl Glen Weaver. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, 8 months, and 6 days, Jim Roberts. Other survivors include her children: Debbi (Ron) Moore, Mendy King, Rick (Angie) Roberts, and Rod Roberts; 12 grandchildren: Alicia & Colton King; Andrea Darlene Gaeta; Ricky, Corrie & Todd Moore ; Dylan, Devyn, Dakotah, and Sam Roberts; Patrick & Kelsi Detrick; 3 sisters: Glenda James, Sharon (Jim) Crownover, and Gayle Morales; 3 half-sisters: Pam Robinson, and Bev & Rita Weaver; a step-brother, Ernie Mustain; step-mother, Betty Weaver; and many nieces & nephews.
