Norman Metcalf Houghton, 95, passed away June 2, 2009 at his home in Prairie Village. He was employed by the Kansas City Stockyards Co. for 48 years. Norman was the grandson of George Albert Metcalf, a banker and early developer in Johnson County. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Marian; sons: Michael and Philip; daughter-in-law, Billie; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 8, 2009 at the Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS, Keith Worthington Chapter.
