“Nancy” Annie Harris Ritter, 91, of Kansas City, KS passed away March 28, 2011. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 31st at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3232 Metropolitan Ave, KCK; burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Nancy was born January 4, 1920, in Cheltenham, England to Walter and Annie Loud. She was the youngest of 4 children. She took her nurses training during WWII and later met her husband Charles Byron Ritter, who was serving in the U.S. Army. Nancy moved to the U.S. in 1946 and became a U.S. citizen in 1950. She enjoyed her friends, her family, traveling and shopping. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Byron Ritter. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Meyers and her husband Robert, Lawrence, KS; Son Keith Ritter and his wife Mercie, Kansas City, MO; granddaughter Sarah Wheeler Ritter and grandson Jacob Ritter.
