Nancy Cacioppo,79, of Overland Park KS, passed away August 26, 2011. A visitation
celebrating Nancy's life will be held from 4pm-7pm Monday, August 29, at D.W.
Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf Ave. A graveside service will be
held l l am Tuesday, August 30th, at D.W. Newcomer's Johnson County Chapel, 112th and Metcalf. The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association 3846 West 75th St., Prairie Village, Ks, 66208 or Grace Hospice, 9233 Ward Parkway suite 201 KCMO 64114.
Nancy was born May 14, 1932. She owned her own business "Nancy's Upholstery" for
40 years. Her philanthropic work has included the Ms Foundation, and JWSA. She will
be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. We loved her with all of our
hearts and will truly miss her.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Forest and Oris George; husband Sam
Cacioppo & son Michael Cacioppo.
Nancy leaves behind, Sam Cacioppo, Bev Rea, Patrick & Teresa Cacioppo, Rhonda
Wadell. Grandchildren Kimberly Cacioppo, Brett Ellis, Frank & Jessica Cacioppo,
Brandon Cacioppo, Sean & Nicole Cacioppo, Tierney Cacioppo, and six great grand
children.
The family would also like to thank the wonderful staff at Bickford and Grace Hospice.
