Matthew Lawrence

Matthew J. Lawrence, 52, went to be with his Lord on Sept. 30, 2010. Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 11, 2010 with visitation at 10 a.m. at Prairie Baptist Church, 75th & Roe. Matt graduated from SM North in 1976. He was an Eagle Scout, and worked in the logging industry in Oregon for 30 years. Matt was a stonemason at Lake of the Ozarks. He composed and performed his original music on two CD recordings. Matt was preceded in death by his father, John D.Lawrence. He leaves his mother, Jo Lawrence, sister, Lisa Johnson (David), Cody and Cole, and extended family. He also leaves his best friends Bob Dome and Steve Gillespie.
