Mrs. Mary Trotter

Mary Lee (Otto) Trotter, 79, of Prairie Village, KS, passed away April 13, 2008, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
Mary Lee was born January 23, 1929, the daughter of Eugene and Luella (Dehoney) Otto, and lived in Raytown, MO, for many years before marrying and moving to Prairie Village, KS. She graduated from UMKC with a BA in music, June, 1952. She taught in the Kansas City, MO, school district for eight years. During her membership at Raytown Baptist Church, she served as organist for several years. She married Robert F. Trotter, June 20, 1959; and joined the Nall Avenue Baptist Church where she was an active member. She was co-chair of the Prayer Line at the church and played piano and organ for church functions. She also gave private piano lessons for several years.
Survivors include her husband, Robert, of the home; a daughter, Sara (Trotter) Griffin of Prairie Village; a sister, Norma Jean Ramel of Leawood; and four nieces, Paige Ballard, Brooke Ramel, Carol Sue Jackson and Joyce Bibins.
