Marvin Heitman

Marvin H. Heitman, age 94, passed away April 29, 2007 at Sharon Lane Health Services. Graveside services will be 10:00am Thursday, May 3, at Mount Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be 5-7:00pm Wednesday, May 2, at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66204. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriner?s Hospital for Children. Marvin was born July 10, 1912 in Helena, MO, and lived in Norton, KS prior to moving to the Kansas City area in the 1940?s. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army. He was also a proud member of the Ararat Shrine. He retired at 80 years of age, enjoying his final employment with Villa Ventura. He was a heavy equipment operator for much of his life. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary Ann and daughters Cleta Williams, Gay Lynn Adair, Joan Day, and Christina Stemm. He was also blessed with loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his friends and loving family.
