Marjorie Ann Stack, age 73, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Friday, April 11, 2008 at her home. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 15th at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in the Wesley Covenant Chapel, 13720 Roe, Leawood, KS. Visitation will be 1-2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the church prior to the service. Private inurnment at a later date in Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to The American Cancer Society.
Marge was born on March 12, 1935 in Wichita, KS. Following graduation from Baker University, she enjoyed a career in Elementary education in the Shawnee Mission School District. Marge volunteered at the Church of the Resurrection and Ozanam. She enjoyed time with family and friends? and a good book. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Freda Rogers; sister, Mary Elizabeth Schrader; and niece, Janice Schrader. Survivors include her husband, Jon; sons, Brian Stack and his wife Laura and Doug Stack and his wife Laura; granddaughters, Kirsten and Becca Stack; step-grandchildren, Lindsay, Jason, Megan, Joe and Kyle Hardwick; brother-in-law, George Schrader; and sister-in-law, Alberta Merritt; and several nieces and nephews.
