Marjorie Conrads, Prairie Village, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 15.
Marjorie was born January 23, 1921, in Minneapolis, MN, to Clarence and Carolyn Croner. After high school, she attended the University of Minnesota and later enlisted in the Marine Corps. During World War II, she was stationed in Washington, DC., where she met Robert Conrads, who was serving in the Army Signal Corps. They were married in 1946 and lived for 35 years in Washington, DC, where they raised two sons. She was a homemaker and an active member of Sixth Church of Christ, Scientist in Washington, DC. They spent later years in Boston, MA, Charleston, SC, and Kansas City, MO.
Marjorie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert; son David and wife, Margi, of Prairie Village; son Paul and wife, Cindy, of Chapin, SC; and two granddaughters, Lee and Kim Conrads of Prairie Village.
The family extends special thanks to the caregivers and nurses of Somerset Health Center at Claridge Court.
