Marjorie Bilger Mulroy, 92, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 4th with a visitation prior from 10-11 a.m. at the D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS; burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Luke’s South Hospice.
Marjorie was born March 15, 1918 in Kansas City, MO to James Lambert and Aleen Shelton. She graduated from Paseo High School in 1936. Marjorie retired from KU Medical Center. She and her husband William were involved with Junior Golf. Marjorie was preceded in death by her first husband O.H. Bilger, Jr. and her second husband William Mulroy. Survivors include her daughter Judy (Rodger) Childs; a son L. Shelton (Virginia A.) Bilger; a sister Betty Kolb; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchild.
