Marilyn Marie (Olson) Peck, age 77 of Fairway, Kansas died on Thursday, September, 4, 2008 at Manor Care, Overland Park, Kansas.
Marilyn was born on June 18, 1931 in Kansas City, Missouri to Carl and Ruth Olson. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Edwin E. Peck and son, Steven D. Peck.
She was raised in Fairway, KS and graduated Shawnee Mission North High School in 1949. She attended Bethany College and Kansas State University. Marilyn was a member of First Lutheran Church and Order of Eastern Star Beatrice Chapter 450. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM on Monday, September 8 and a visitation on Sunday from 4-6:00 PM at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66204. Graveside services will be held Monday at 3:30 PM in Salemsborg Lutheran Cemetery, Smolan, Kansas.
