MARGARET CUNDIFF
Margaret (Gaskill) Cundiff, 101, of Bucyrus Kansas, passed away March 20, 2011 at Homestead of Leawood. Margaret has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a future date. Margaret was born on Oct. 18,1909 to Robert & Muriel (Hartman) Gaskill in Kansas City KS. She was a member of Wyandotte High School graduating class of 1928. On March 9,1930,Margaret was married to Curt L. Cundiff , her H.S. classmate. Margaret was a home-maker and enjoyed spending time at the farm. In 1991, Margaret sold 280 acres and donated 20 to the City of Overland Park, which is now the OP Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. She was very proud of allowing people to share and enjoy the "farm" as she did. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Curt; son Robert W; and grandson Curt.
