Lucinda Bagby, 89, passed away September 26, 2010 at her Claridge Court residence in Prairie Village. Lucinda was born Nov. 16, 1920 in Belfast, Northern Ireland; she met Emmett E. Bagby and became a Second World War bride on January 12, 1944; they resided in Manchester UK until war's end then moved to Emmett's family residence in Central MO. They lived in Westport, Meadow Lake, Leawood and Prairie VIllage. Lucinda prepared fellowship dinners at the Cherokee Christian Church in Prairie Village where the family worshiped. She is preceeded in death by her mother Mary and father Walter and her brother Jack Watson. Lucinda is survived by her husband Emmett Ellis, son John Watson, daughter-in-law Robin Sue, granddaughter Julia Marie and grandson John Robert (Jack) Bagby, all of State College PA.
