Lloyd O. Holm, 96, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2017 with his wife of almost 70 years, Vonceil at his side.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 pm at Faith Lutheran Church, 4805 W 67th St., Prairie Village, KS on Friday, March 3rd.
Lloyd was born September 30, 1920 in Watford City, ND, the seventh of 10 children. After service in the army during WWII, he returned to North Dakota where he completed a degree in Agricultural Engineering. He married the love of his life, Vonceil Summers, on March 26, 1947. They settled in Prairie Village, Kansas in 1957 with their two children, Roger and Claudia (Bob) Harnden. Lloyd retired in 1980 and spent his retirement gardening, traveling with Vonceil, and serving his church community. He had a gentle soul and will be greatly missed.
