Lillen G. Steinmetz, 79, passed away Monday, March 23, 2009.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2009 at the Bethany Lutheran Church; private family burial in Resurrection Cemetery.
The family suggests contributions to Animal Haven.
Lillen was born October 1929 in St. Paul, MN. She attended St. Paul Central High School and graduated in 1947. Lillen was a retired secretary, fur model for Hope Furs, and a homemaker. She was married in 1949. Lillen was a Lutheran, and a scout den mother. She was artistically inclined and many of her hobbies reflected this such as her love of gardening, flower drying and arranging, sewing, and baking. Lillen also enjoyed bowling, ice skating, and loved cats. She will be remembered for her sense of humor. Lillen was a wonderful mother to her 5 children.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons: Jeff and Tim.
Survivors include her son, Mark, a daughter, Pamela O’Brien, and a son Dean; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
