Lettie Arlene Holwegner, 75, of Leawood, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2011 unexpectedly at her home.
Lettie was born in Florida and located in Overland Park in 1966. She was married to the love of her life Bill Holwegner for 54 years who survives. Lettie took special pride in caring and loving her husband and their two daughters, Leigh Alexander of Topeka and Lynn Blaser of Bucyrus. Through the years, many friends and animals were fortunate to meet this very special lady. She had such talent to give so much of herself and asked for so little.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at the D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Rolling Acres Memorial Gardens for Pets, 12200 NW Crooked Rd, Kansas City, MO.
