Kenneth Kuttler, 78, of Mission, KS, passed away at his home on Saturday, December 4, 2010. Friends may call from 1-3 pm, Friday at Newcomers Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, with a time for sharing memories beginning at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Central Avenue Center for Hope, 11 N 15 Street, Kansas City, KS 66102 or the charity of your choice. Ken graduated from Argentine High School and was a Korean War Veteran. He spent his career as a plumber, like his father and brother. Ken was known as Mr. Wonderful by family and friends. He was a member of the True Sportsmen’s Club and the Community of Christ Church. Ken was very proud that he was the first male parent ever to receive the Kansas PTA Honorary Life Membership from Hickory Grove Elementary School. This honor is given for distinguished service on behalf of children and youth. He is preceded in death by his son, Patrick, and his parents Grace and Karl Kuttler, a brother and 3 sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Joyce; Daughters , Kennetha “Kenne” Kuttler; Karla Jagusch and husband, John; Son, Kyle Kuttler and wife, Shari; Grandchildren, Casey, Martin and Merani Rivarola, Kinsey and Kaylee Kuttler; Sister, Mary Lou Limberger and husband, Jim; and many nephews and nieces. Ken also has a large extended family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
