Julienne (Judy) Buchner
Julienne (Judy) Buchner passed away suddenly on August 14, 2007. Judy King was born in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Westport High School. Judy married Bernard Buchner in 1939 and they celebrated their 64th anniversary before he died in 2003. She enjoyed seventeen years working as a S.M. School District elementary school secretary before her retirement. She is survived by her four sons: Gerald ?Jerry? Buchner of Kansas, Stephen Buchner, MD (Maureen) of California, Allan Buchner (Valerie) of Florida, and David Buchner, MD (Marian) of Georgia, eight grandchildren, one great grand daughter and numerous nieces and nephews. Her family wishes to thank her friends Marilyn Morris and David Olson for enriching the final years of her life.
Memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 20 at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 AM. Private interment at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, Kansas. Contributions may be directed to the Village Presbyterian Church in support of the Stephen Ministry.
