Julia O?Gara Maccracken, 89, of Prairie Village, Kansas passed away Monday, November 12, 2007 at the Kansas City Hospice House from natural causes. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Cure of Ars Catholic Church, 9401 Mission Rd, Leawood, KS. Visitation is from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice, 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64114.
Julia O. Maccracken was born March 7, 1918 in Lancaster, Ohio. She loved her children, grandchildren and her many friends. Also, she was an avid bridge player.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Jane. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Ralph ?Jim? Maccracken; daughters, Ann (Kenn), Molly (Lauren), Harriet (Ed), Nancy (Bruce), Joan (Jim); sons, Jim (Debbie), Joe (Martha), Sam (Kelly); 17 grandchildren; sister, Isabelle (Charles) Hammock; sister-in-law, Marion (Everett) Coulter and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
