John White

John E. White, age 93, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on September 25th, 2011. John was born on December 22, 1917 in Kansas City, Missouri to William White and Laura Neely White. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Virginia Florence Hoagland White, his daughters Marsha Anne White and Patricia June Peterson, his grandchildren Heather Andrea McLane, Shannon Lee Kimball, and William John Peterson. He held in his affections his grandchildren's spouses Hilles McLane, Jason Kimball and Diane Peterson, as well as his great grandchildren Ian Paul Kimball, Logan Kenneth Kimball, Sydney Ella Peterson, and Aubry Anne Temps. John loved his family, his books, his language studies, and imparting his infinite knowledge to family, friends, and everyone he met throughout his life. John never stopped studying, learning, and living his life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
