John E. Langan, age 59 of Lenexa, KS passed away at Shawnee Mission Medical Center on May 3, 2009 after a long battle with heart disease.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church 7023 W 71st St. Overland Park, KS 66204. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery Lenexa, KS. Visitation 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, May 6, at DW Newcomers Son’s Overland Park Chapel 8201 Metcalf Overland Park, KS. Rosary recitation 6:00 p.m. at the chapel.
John is survived by his significant other Carol Beckemeyer, sister Mary K. Fox, aunt Lavretta Langan, nephews Bill and Dennis Blackwell, niece Bonnie LaBelle, two great nephews and one great niece.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association 6800 W. 93rd St. Overland Park, KS 66212.
