Joan H. Wood

Joan H. Wood of Overland Park, KS died on March 8th, 2023.  She was born in Slater MO on July 19th, 1927.  She leaves behind her son  Rodney and his wife Cindy, daughter Wendy, grandsons Brett and Joshua, and daughters-in-Amy and Katie. She happily joins her husband James L. Wood in the afterlife.

She loved music all her life and played the piano and organ for churches and events. She most recently served as the musician for The Wellstone Church at Mission Crossing and Overland Park Nursing & Rehab Center.

She loved and was beloved by many friends, neighbors, and their children.  She was delighted to be an honorary grandma to so many.
