Mrs. Jeannine Horner

Obituary is PendingJeannine Margaret Horner, 82, passed away November 29, 2013. Jeannine was born in St Louis to Oliver and Margaret Valerius. She moved to Kansas City as a youth and graduated from Central High School. She married Robert H Horner Jr. on October 25, 1952. She worked in the home as she raised her three sons and then worked for the Chevrolet Division of General Motors from 1966 to 1992. She and Robert moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 1994. She returned to the Kansas City area this year in late summer. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her sister and brother in law Janet and Don Mattox, Elsmore, Kansas. Her sons and daughter in laws; Marc and Barbara Horner, Shawnee, Kansas; Rick and Tricia Horner, Olathe, Kansas; Greg Horner and Linda Stromquist, Anchorage, Alaska. Her grandchildren; Andrea Horner, Emily and Nathan Beuster, Cullen Horner, Kelsey and Laurence Lafferty and Logan Horner. A memorial service will be held at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel on December 21, 2013 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to The Rotary Youth Camp.
