Jeanne Peschken, 87, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Monday, May 25, 2009. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 4947 NE Chouteau Dr., Kansas City, MO; visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior at the church.
Jeanne was born March 31, 1922. She moved to Kansas City in 1954. Jeanne worked as a bookkeeper for several companies including 16 years with the IRS. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority for about 20 years. Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, “Doc” Peschken; and a son, Richard Peschken. Survivors include a son, Bill Peschken; and a daughter Vicki (Steven) Nelson.; 2 grandchildren: David (Elisa) Neilson, Angela (Josh) Kreps; 3 great granddaughters: Ella and Sloane Kreps, and Olivia Neilson.
