Jean Morgan

Jean D. Morgan, 92 went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2015 after a brief illness.  Devoted wife of the late E. Kent Morgan, Jean was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 7, 1922 to parents Jennie and Michael Cali.  Jean is survived by daughters Denise Stonger and husband Rex of Olathe, KS, Donna Powell and husband James of Houston, TX; brother, Michael Cali of Houston; grandsons, Jon Stonger (Christina), Mark Stonger (Amanda), and Zach Powell; nephew, Don Lynch, and great-grandchild, Sofya Stonger.  She is proceeded in death by her husband Kent of 49 years; son, Darrell; her parents and two sisters, and her sister-in-law, Toni Cali.  Jean will be greatly missed by her friends and family who loved her dearly.  We are grateful that she lived a long and active life, filled with humor, determination, faith and love.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  Visitation is from 3 – 5 pm on Saturday, April 4th at Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS 66204 with a graveside service to be held in Houston, TX.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wayside Waifs of Kansas City, MO or St. Jude’s Hospital
