James M. Forsee, 71, Shawnee, KS, passed away May 19, 2015 at his home. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Monday, May 25 at Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 26 at Nall Avenue Baptist Church, 6701 Nall Avenue, Prairie Village, KS, followed by burial at Shawnee Mission Memory Garden in Shawnee, KS. Jim was born April 8, 1944 in Little Rock, Arkansas to parents Dudley M. and Donna M. (Burke) Forsee. He was a 1962 graduate of Rosedale High School and received his degree in Business from Washburn University. Jim served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and after his return he met and married Nancy Cleveland. Jim retired from a career in the Appraiser’s Department for Johnson County and was a member of Nall Avenue Baptist Church. He is survived by: his wife, Nancy; sister, Pat Pitre; brother, Eldon (Donna) Forsee; and nieces and nephews. Please offer condolences at www.overlandparkchapel.com.
