Jacqueline A. Gradinger, 94, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017. Jac was born on Nov. 21, 1922, in Little Rock, AR to Elizabeth and Jack Adams, who preceded her in death, along with her sister, Betty Green, and her husband, Joesph F. Gradinger. She was raised in Pinebluff, AR where she and Joe met and were married in 1944. They eventually settled in Prairie Village, KS where they raised their two children. Jac was a homemaker. She was a member and past-president of PEO Chapter GM and belonged to the Altar Guild at Christ Episcopal Church. The lives that Jac touched can never be counted. Her life among us was a great gift and she will be deeply missed forever. She is survived by her son Scott Gradinger of Lenexa, KS; daughter Jean Giesler and her husband, Jeff; granddaughter Madchen Lewallen (Justin) and grandson, Max Giesler, all of Reno, NV; and many beloved nieces and nephews and their families. It was her wish to have only a private, family graveside ceremony. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Cottey College, 1000 W. Austin Blvd., Nevada, MO 64772 or St. Michael and All Angels, 6630 Nall Ave., Mission, KS 66202.
