Mrs. Isabelle Novick
March 7, 1920 — November 9, 2008
Mrs. Isabelle Novick was born March 7th, 1920 in Mahanoy City, PA. Isabelle was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished her family, faith and friends. She was blessed with an incredible gift to care for others, always sharing her time and talents with those who needed them most. She did not want the spotlight to shine on her as she gave of herself, never expecting anything in return. Isabelle loved to work with her hands and always had a needlework project for someone else underway.
Isabelle was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Walter C. Novick. Survivors include her two daughters, Barbara Murello of College Station, TX, Mimi Moore and her husband Mark of Denver, CO; and her four sons, Dr. Tom Novick of Charlotte, NC, David Novick and his wife Gayle of Houston, TX, Chip Novick and his wife Sande of Denver, CO and PJ and his wife, Sherry of Fairway, KS. In addition to her children, she is survived by her seventeen grandchildren ages 35 to 13; Steve and his wife Erin, Paul, Beth, Tom, Kendall, Peter, Tim, Alex, Carl, Kate, Cassie, Kevin, Lucas, Callie, Chase & Colin, and two great grandchildren, Megan and Zach.
The mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12th at St. Agnes Church, 5250 Mission Road, Roeland Park, KS. The burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS. Visitation will be from 5- 8:00 p.m. at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS on Tuesday, November 11th where a rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Agnes Catholic School or Catholic Charities of Kansas City, KS.
